A beta reader is a reader who reads the advance copy of a novel, warts and all, and gives their opinion about readability, pacing, plot, characters and style. No proofreading skills needed, as the novel is professionally proofread later. It is important to be willing to actively contribute, not just read and delete!

You get: the chance to influence the final story, your name in the acknowledgements, and a signed paperback copy!
